FEAR AND FAITH

we die every day- and, not because of the science of the flesh described as getting older.
But because we hold up swords of fear, slashing our dreams with lazy attitudes. Having wings but too scared to fly;
afraid to leap off the cliff even with parachute at our backs.

Let’s resonate your faith with your fears;
as it appears to the be your weapon in despair;
dragged out from your soul- like a sword from its sheath;
like the only content in your one bullet shell;
as you move your vision away from yourself, from your ability to something else;

For without fear, faith is extinct- for the correlation between this two is too strong, it’s like a bond, a bond amidst two twinned souls.
And the greatest fear, now, as become, the fear of one’s self,
No one can kill you more than you yourself- for we slaughter snippets of our souls as we procrastinate on our vision, our dreams.

we die every day- and, not because of the science of the flesh described as getting older.
But because we hold up swords of fear, slashing our dreams with lazy attitudes. Having wings but too scared to fly;
afraid to leap off the cliff even with parachute at our backs.

How then do we get to the sky? Soar among the birds in the cloud?
This battle within the silent chambers of our mind has to be won;
and the ultimate weapon for victory, is the AK47 of Faith.

MY LITTLE GOLDEN FISH

My beautiful golden coloured creature,
I love the way you swim my vision.

My beautiful golden coloured creature,
I love the way you swim my vision.

The same way you swam the river,
I remember the first day we met,
Now I’m thinking about your death,
I still see his face; the man who ate you.

I’ve so many times wanted to hurt him,
But I’m conscious of the fact that you wouldn’t want me to do such.
I care about you so much,

I care about what you think,
You were the reason I kept coming to the river,
You’re the reason I still do.

I was not there the day you were caught,
Your friends told me; of the thick brown net, the reflect of the tall dark man upon the surface of the river as he fished for you.

You struggled, I know
You called out my name as the water bumps and gases formed.

I’m sorry I wasn’t there.
I want you to know I really care.
